I'm sorry that it's hard to be authentically you. I'm sorry you face road blocks so often that tell you that you don't deserve to be yourself. I'm sorry life gets so busy you don't have time to do what makes you you. I'm sorry society has tried to beat you down again and again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But here you are. Still standing. Still holding on to that piece of you that so badly wants to shine, be seen, be safe, and be happy. It's not gone. I hope you find a way to grow that part of you so that one day, you are unapologetically yourself. Maybe you aren't there right now, but I think you'll get there. I know you'll get there.
