Say Yes to Experiences

"Every experience in your life is being orchestrated to teach you something you need to know to move forward. "– Brian Tracy

I thought about this quote from Brian Tracy as I looked through Babe A's gallery and story. Boudoir is an experience that should teach you something. Everyone's lesson might be a bit different. Maybe you need to be reminded that it's possible to feel joy in your body. Maybe you'll learn you can be sexual and powerful. Perhaps you learn how to play with your gender and embrace the feminine or masculine side of yourself. Whatever it may be, boudoir offers a life lesson you need to move forward. When you book a boudoir session, you'll leave with far more than photos. You'll leave with an experience you can hold on to, look back on, and learn from.

When I asked Babe A what she wishes she could say to her younger self, she noted that it would be to say yes to experiences. How much of life and its adventures have we all missed out on because of fear, anxiety, stress or worry? We may not be able to get those moments back, but moving forward, we don't have to miss out on anything. Book the trip. Move across the country. Write the book. Schedule the boudoir session. Take the leap. Say yes.

How do you feel about your body? I’m thankful for being fairly strong and capable! But I do have some insecurities that I don’t try to show off. After our photo shoot I felt a lot more confident!

What's your best tip for feeling sexy? Channel your inner seductress and listen to sexy music that puts you in the mood.

How do you feel about your age? Love it! Wouldn’t mine holding here though!

What gets better with age? Discerning what to care/not care about.

What's the best compliment you've ever received? I’ve been told I am come off as genuine and positive!

What do you wish you could tell your younger self? Say yes to experiences, no to negativity.

Describe yourself in five words Understanding, adventurous, nerdy, cuddly, goofy.

What have you overcome or accomplished that you're proud of? I used to have a lot of anxiety and and self doubts, but after some self development, big travel moves, and graduating with my doctorate, I feel pretty badass sometimes!

On bad body image days, how will you remind yourself that you're awesome? Doing something energizing and fun like a bike ride! Also a good face mask goes a long way.

What's your favorite form of self care? Not doing something/making commitments if you don’t feel like it!
