Stop saying, "I can't do that." Start saying, "I can't do that yet."⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's ok if you're not in a place yet where you're able to do all the things you want to do. Have grace and patience with yourself. If you're anything like me, I want to immediately be good at any new skill I take on. Life just doesn't work that way! It takes time (sometimes, SO MUCH TIME) to get to where you want to be. You deserve the same patience and understanding you give so freely to others.
You'll get there. Not to be cliche, but I'm about to be cliche: Life is indeed a journey, not a destination. Whatever it is you don't think you can do right now, take a deep breath, relax the shoulders, and remember that you can do it, just not yet.⠀
So many folks feel like they can't do boudoir. They aren't thin enough, they look awkward in front of the camera, or they are too shy. They don't have the time. They don't have the money. They don't have the confidence. We're really good at coming up with all the excuses for why we can't do something, right?
You may not feel like you can try boudoir right now, but you can do it one day. There is nothing stopping you except YOU. Whether it's boudoir or some other magical adventure, give yourself the grace to know that what you can't do now, you can do one day. Your day is coming!⠀⠀
