Studio Policies

Your Session Includes: 3 wardrobe changes. Expertise in posing to help you look and feel your best. Professional hair and makeup. Access to the boudoir wardrobe. Professional retouching on every final image. Same Day Reveal and order session. 

 

NO GUARANTEED RESULTS: I (Buxom Boudoir) will make a good faith effort to achieve your desired results. However, photography is a subjective art form, and I cannot guarantee any particular results. I'll do my best to make your vision come to life.

 

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING: I understand that life happens, and sometimes plans need to shift. If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as you can. The sooner we connect, the easier it is to find a new date that works beautifully for you. Please note that rescheduled sessions may reflect any updated pricing listed in the current investment menu.

 

Rescheduling at least 14 days before your session is ideal. Rescheduling within 14 days includes a $50 rescheduling fee so I can take care of my team. If a second reschedule becomes necessary, the same $50 fee applies. All sessions must be rescheduled within 6 months of the original date, and your creation fee will be safely held for you during that time.

 

If you need to cancel, your creation fee and any prepayments are non-refundable. Cancellations include a $100 cancellation fee, which helps cover staffing commitments. For cancellations within 48 hours of the session, a $500 cancellation fee applies due to the short notice and preparations already in place.

 

CREDIT CARD ON FILE: To help keep the scheduling process smooth, the Client agrees to provide a valid credit card to be kept securely on file. This card will only be used for applicable rescheduling fees, cancellation fees, or missed appointment fees outlined in this agreement. The Client will be notified before any fee is charged. If the card on file becomes invalid or is declined, the Client agrees to provide updated payment information within 48 hours.

 

LATE POLICY: Lateness comes out of the session time. If you are more than 30 minutes late and fail to let me know via text or phone call, you are considered a no-show and I will close the studio. (I'll also be a nervous wreck hoping something bad didn't happen to you, so please keep me in the loop!) If you no show, that is considered a cancellation and will incur the $500 cancellation fee.

 

EXCLUSIVITY: No other photographer will be allowed to photograph or take pictures during the Session while your photographer is working, unless otherwise agreed by the Parties in writing. This includes cell-phone cameras, computer cameras, and their equivalents. You are more than welcome to take selfies, though! Selfie it up!

 

LIMITS OF LIABILITY: If I cannot perform your session due to things outside of my control, such as sudden injury, illness, lost equipment, or acts of God, then I will return your creation fee and any prepayments to you but shall have no further liability with respect to this Agreement. I will not be liable for any other injuries, if photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged, rendering the photographic material unusable, without fault on the part of myself. I will do my best to make the situation right, though, by offering a new session. In no event, regardless of the circumstances, shall I be liable for consequential, emotional, third-party, punitive or any other damages, including attorney’s fees, resulting from my services or lack thereof. I shall only be liable up to the price of the creation fee. 

 

NON-DEFAMATION: Each party agrees not to intentionally defame or otherwise disparage the other with respect to matters arising prior or after the session date. Let's respect each other! 

 

RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF PHOTOGRAPHY: All photos and images taken by the photographers at Buxom Boudoir remain the sole, copyrighted, intellectual property of the photographer. Screenshots or downloads of any images without their purchase, whether watermarked or not, is theft. Invoices for screenshot images will be sent and payment will be due. You agree to pay $250 per image for every image in the gallery if you choose to screenshot or download any images without permission. I wouldn't steal from you; please don't steal from me! These photos are for personal use. If you'd like to use them for commercial use, please ask. 

 

ORDERING PHOTOS: The reveal session is the only time to order photos. Images are not archived. Therefore, you will not be able to return and order additional images. There is no option to have an online gallery or a second ordering appointment. No part of any order, including previews, will be delivered until the balance is paid in full. 

PAYMENT PLANS: Payment plans can be arranged at your image reveal. The first payment is due during the image reveal. The remaining balance may be divided over a period of 1 to 12 months, according to the plan agreed upon. All invoices must be paid in full by their final due date. Any unpaid invoices after 30 days of the final payment date will be considered abandoned, and orders may be canceled. All payments are non-refundable.

 

PRODUCT PICK UP: Product pick ups are recommended. Should you choose to have the order shipped, Buxom Boudoir is not responsible for any damage that occurs during shipping, but I will do what I can to amend the situation and replace the art. Please let me know within 2 days of the art arriving if it is damaged. 

 

APPROPRIATE CONDUCT/ SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Buxom Boudoir does not tolerate the sexual harassment of any of its employees, prospective employees, principals, customers, or colleagues. Buxom Boudoir also strictly prohibits acts, words, and other deeds which create a "hostile work environment," as that phrase is understood. Should the photographer or staff feel sexually harassed or unsafe, they will first talk to you. If the behavior continues, I have the right to end the session and will not refund the creation fee. 

 

TRANSFER: This agreement cannot be transferred or assigned to any third party by either the Photographer or Client without written consent of both Parties.
