What Is Body Image Coaching?
Body image coaching is a type of coaching that helps people improve their relationship with their bodies and cultivate a positive body image. My coaching sessions are designed to support individuals who may be struggling with negative body image, body dissatisfaction, or disordered eating patterns.
During body image coaching, you'll work on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and beliefs about your body. You'll learn practical strategies for improving your body image, such as practicing self-compassion, mindfulness, and positive self-talk. In addition, our sessions will explore the cultural and societal factors that contribute to negative body image, such as media messages and social pressure to conform to narrow beauty standards.
Who is Body Image Coaching for?
These coaching sessions are for people who want to:

Understand why they feel how they feel about their bodies
Explore their thought patterns around food
Quit diet culture
Create a self love and self care routine
These coaching sessions ARE NOT therapy. If you struggle with eating disorders, self harm thoughts or mental health problems, please seek professional mental health care. I've partnered with an amazing therapy office and would be happy to offer recommendations.

My name is Alicia Schmitt
I struggled with self hatred for a long time. When I began a boudoir studio, I knew body image health needed to be at the center of my sessions. Now, whether clients want body image coaching in addition to their photo session or as its own experience, my clients can heal the relationship they have with their body.

Body image coaching is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and the specific techniques and strategies used may vary depending on the your needs and goals. However, the overall aim our sessions is to help you develop a more positive and compassionate relationship with your body, improve your overall well-being, and live a more fulfilling life.
You can choose one session, three sessions or six sessions. Each session is one hour long and can be in person in downtown Port Washington or virtually via video chat. Coaching sessions are $99 USD.
