Easy Boudoir Outfits You Already Own

Boudoir photography is all about celebrating your unique beauty and confidence. You don't need to splurge on expensive lingerie to create stunning images – chances are, you already have some amazing pieces in your closet that can make you feel fabulous in front of the camera. Here are some easy boudoir outfits you probably already own:

Oversized Button-Up Shirt One of the simplest yet sexiest pieces you can wear for a boudoir shoot is an oversized button-up shirt. Whether it’s your partner’s or your own, this classic piece can be styled in so many ways. Leave a few buttons undone, roll up the sleeves, and let the fabric drape naturally over your body. Pair it with some lacy underwear, or go bare underneath for an extra spicy look. And the best part? This is a shirt you can actually wear day to day too, so you don't feel like you purchased something for a one time use.

Lacy Bra and Panty Set You don't need to buy new lingerie if you already have a favorite bra and panty set in your drawer. Lacy sets are always a winner for boudoir photography. They add just the right amount of detail and texture to your photos. The most important thing to remember, though, is to choose a set that makes you feel confident and beautiful.

Casual Tank Top A simple, fitted tank top can be incredibly sexy when styled for a boudoir shoot. Pair it with some cute underwear or boy shorts - the great thing about a tank top is it can feel feminine or masculine depending on the vibe you want to create. The straps are great to play with, and if you're looking for something extra spicy, you can get the tank top wet. There are so many ways to use a tank top in a boudoir session.

Jeans and a Bralette This combination offers a perfect balance of casual and sexy. A pair of well-fitted jeans paired with a bralette or crop top can create a look that's both comfortable and alluring. One of my favorite ways to style jeans for a boudoir shoot is to leave the jeans unbuttoned or rolled down. It's sexy and sensual!

Your Favorite Dress A dress that makes you feel amazing can be a great option for a boudoir shoot. Think flowy fabrics, plunging necklines, or a form-fitting silhouette that accentuates your curves. Dresses with interesting textures or lace details can add a unique touch to your photos. Dresses are especially perfect for people who want outdoor photos as an add on to their session but don't want to wear lingerie outside.

Soft Robe A soft robe is a perfect addition for a boudoir session. It adds a touch of elegance and can be used as a cover-up that you can gradually take off during the shoot. The movement of the fabric can also create beautiful, dynamic images. If showing skin makes you nervous, a robe is perfect for you. It's an excellent first outfit for a session as you get warmed up.

Thigh-High Socks or Stockings Thigh-high socks or stockings can add a playful and flirty element to your boudoir photos. Pair them with a cozy sweater or one of the other pieces mentioned above for a look that's both sexy and comfortable.
