In the Studio and the Woods

This year I photographed lovely humans outside more than ever. When this woman reached out, she asked for a little bit of studio time and a large portion of her session to be outside. We chatted a lot about her aesthetic. Did she like the beach? The woods? An open field? She loves the woods and rivers, so we shot in one of Port Washington's forests and a creek that cuts through Upper Lake Park Valley. We did a lot of prep discussion and created a photoshoot unique to her.

We spent 10 minutes in the studio, and then packed up her wardrobe, my camera, and my portable pop up changing tent and carpooled the the woods.

In 2021, I see myself shooting so many gorgeous folks in the woods. What do you think? Would you shoot outside?
