What You Should Wear to Your Boudoir Shoot

A big part of boudoir is the wardrobe, but with so many lingerie options out there, picking your outfits can seem a bit overwhelming. You know what's hot? Confidence, so wear something that you feel really great in! Let's break down some boudoir outfit options so you’re totally prepared for your boudoir photo shoot.

Bras and Panties

This is a staple. It’s a go-to for lots of women during boudoir shoots, but I think this pairing can be amped up. I love high waisted panties, and garter belts make everything sexier. Plus, if you have any issues with your tummy, high waisted items and belts help you feel more comfortable (and it's ok to have tummy insecurities - a lot of us do.) Thongs are awesome too, or any bra and panty sets with straps. I love straps! Where to buy: ModCloth, Unique Vintage

Teddies and Bodysuits

Teddies are a lot like swimsuits but more revealing. They cover the chest, waist and crotch in one piece. And they are super hot. I love them because teddies and bodysuits can cover a a lot of skin and still look amazing. If you're unsure about showing a lot of skin, you can find a design that works for you. If you want to show a ton of skin, you can find plenty of bodysuits and teddies that show skin, too! Where to buy: Fashion Nova

Boudoir Accessories

Stockings: Thigh high stockings have a vintage vibe to them. They feel old school glamorous. They aren’t a must-have, but they add something special.

Jewelry: I love bling, so if you've got it, bring it. I may be partial to sparkle, but if you have simple and subtle pieces, those are awesome, too. You don't have to wear any jewelry either. You accessories should be representative of you.
