My Recap of WPPI

I'm back from Vegas! I didn't know it was possible to cram as much into 5 days as I did, so I'm experiencing what the photographers in my last class called "the WPPI Information Hangover." Best. Hangover. Ever. I may be exhausted, but I'm also stoked to implement what I've learned. Everything I learned will make my clients' experience at Buxom Boudoir even better. I've upped my posing game by learning from one of the best boudoir photographers in the country - Jen Rozenbaum. I studied environmental lighting under Erik Valind, which will make my outdoor boudoir sessions even better, and I took a class on getting creative taught by the amazing Lindsey Adler. If you've spent any time looking at my sessions, you know I love sticking things in front of my lens and seeing what happens, so Adler's class was right up my alley! I even own some of the same things she uses to shoot through, so that felt good. I learned how to build better relationships with my clients, how to share more of my story, and so much more.

Each year, I work on becoming a better boudoir photographer. Education is extremely important to me. I want to make sure my babes are getting an experience that uplifts and celebrates them in the best way possible, which is why I push myself to learn more. WPPI exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to show you what I've learned during your session and reveal.

I also did a lot of shooting while in Vegas. I wish I had everything edited so I could show you, but ya girl took A LOT of photos, so I have a lot of editing to do. Maybe a few photos will be enough to tide us both over for now.

Overall, the Wedding and Portrait Photography International Conference was amazing, and I'm so glad I went. Thanks to the babes who encouraged me to go! I'm already hoping I can go again next year.

Book your session for 2020. Let's get creative together!
